In the New Testament, we read about the Holy Spirit empowering God’s people for amazing miracles. Sometimes the Holy Spirit miraculously healed the sick. Occasionally people spoke in a foreign language because the Holy Spirit enabled. Most have not experienced the Holy Spirit working in those miraculous ways.
